I am a native of Garden City, Kansas, and grew up surrounded by good pheasant hunting, two great golf courses, and lots of cattle. In 2006 I graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in microbiology, and shortly before graduation accepted a scholarship from the US Air Force to attend dental school at UMKC. Immediately after graduating in 2010, I completed an advanced education in general dentistry program, during which I studied under all the dental specialists and got certified in IV sedation.
After a one-year tour in South Korea, I was lucky enough to get stationed in the panhandle of Florida, at Hurlburt Field in Fort Walton Beach. Living a hundred yards from the white sandy beaches and down the road from Destin was not too bad! I recently joined the KS Air National Guard and will be spending one weekend a month taking care of the Coyotes at Forbes Field in Topeka.
I married the love of my life in 2015! Meg and I are so excited to build our life here in Lawrence. She is a graduate of the University of Indiana, and as a Hoosier, has a great appreciation for college basketball. We are followers of KU sports and enjoy almost everything outdoors, including golfing, tennis, skiing, camping, and fishing.
Dentistry is my passion. It is important to me to provide patients with the personalized dental care they need. Educating patients on their needs opens the door to long-lasting relationships, and I am excited to bring additional services and expanded hours to provide opportunities for our practice and our patients. We are a true team here. I invite you in to allow me the opportunity to review your dental care needs.
